The floor houses several companies, and each office needed lighting that was practical for daily work and also suited a modern, professional corporate image. The project started with planning and a review of the floor layout. Open workstations, meeting rooms, reception areas, cabins and corridors each need a different level and style of lighting. The Axion Light team therefore designed a layered office lighting layout that balances general illumination, focused task lighting and decorative accent lighting. This gave each office a comfortable working environment while keeping a uniform style across the whole floor. Linear lights were a main part of the design. Modern LED linear lights deliver even, glare-free illumination over long areas, which makes them well suited to open-plan workspaces and corridors. Their clean lines also suit a modern office ceiling design, and they help reduce eye strain over long working hours. For a distinctive architectural feature, custom linear hanging lights were designed for selected areas. Adjustable LED track lights are well suited to reception walls, display areas, branding features and meeting rooms, because the light can be directed wherever it is required. Stretch fabric ceilings were also part of the design. A stretch fabric ceiling with LED lighting spreads light evenly across a large surface. It gives a seamless, shadow-free finish that suits modern offices and areas where uniform lighting is a priority.
